Pedestal or cocktail tables are available with a fixed height, switchable height or adjustable height. The fixed height tables are available in square or round varieties and cannot be changed. Switchable height tables are available in round only and come with 2 different sized table bases, so the table is either the taller height or shorter height. Adjustable tables are also available in round and come with one table base with a locking mechanism that allows you maneuver the table between three different heights without having to take the entire unit apart.
